Linda Rowe Thomas is the founder, CEO and creative director of Romás by Linda. Thomas is an American fashion designer who is known for her haute couture evening wear. Thomas has appeared 5 times at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week and has been officially named the first and only burn survivor to showcase on the prestigious platform. Linda has over 20 years of management experience in Buying, Management, and design, Thomas’ celebrity clientele include actresses, singers, professional athletes and many more. With a number of accolades under her needle and thread, Linda was named “One to Watch by the New York Examiner and named on the top fashion designers of 2014, 2015, 2016 by the Examiner. Thomas’s designs have graced the red carpets of the Golden Globes, BET, The ESPY’s, STARZ and numerous others. At age two, Linda survived a house fire, which left her with facial scarring and without fingers on her left hand. Despite the surprising impairment, Linda maintains impeccable quality with each stitch and to this day still sews each garment by hand. As an author, inspirational keynote speaker and philanthropist, Linda has used her adversities to inspire other burn survivors. She is the founder and Executive Director of Designing Hope Foundation, 501c3 nonprofit benefitting burn survivors across the country.
